We are located in a restored mercantile building built in 1872. The building originally served St. Ansgar as a harness and leather repair shop. In 1984, Judy and David purchased the building, and after renovating, opened their business, Home Sweet Home. In 1994, the adjoining storefront, occupied by the local barber, was offered to them. With that addition and with some new construction, today, Home Sweet Home offers nearly 6000 square feet of distinctive American home furnishings and gifts.
After celebrating 25 years in business, Judy and David sold Home Sweet Home to their daughter, Kari. She is a familiar face at the store and is excited to continue on the tradition.
